This Bella Vista bedroom had an awkward chimney wa This Bella Vista bedroom had an awkward chimney wall, no closets, and no real storage. Just two old dressers and wasted space.

We designed a floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobe wall around the architecture — custom pullouts, drawers, and shelving for folded clothes. Everything they needed, built right into the wall.

$13,000. Installed in just a few days. Right around the corner from our new Queen Village showroom.

This is what we do for Philly homes. 🏠

This walk-in closet cost $20,000. Here’s exactly w This walk-in closet cost $20,000. Here’s exactly why.

Our clients could have gone simpler — but they chose to build it the way they actually wanted it. Shaker doors and drawer fronts, full backs throughout, pull-out trays, and embedded LED soffit lighting custom designed into the soffit. Every detail spec’d for them, built for them.

$20,000 isn’t the price of a closet. It’s the price of never settling for what was available off the shelf.

Was it worth it? They think so.

Meet the Team Sunday! Meet Luis — one of Lead Ins Meet the Team Sunday!

Meet Luis — one of Lead Installers 👏

Luis came to the US from the Dominican Republic in 2022. His first job here was demolition — not what he wanted, but it was what was available. A year later he found himself out of work, and a friend called him to help tear out an old wardrobe on a Legacy job site.

The crew noticed how he moved. How he paid attention. How he cared. We asked him to join the team and are very lucky he said yes!

Luis is hardworking, extremely intelligent, and a genuinely talented craftsman. But what impresses me most is what he’s able to do in spite of the language barrier. You point to something, and before you know it Luis has it done — and done perfectly.

I think about that sometimes. Imagine being in a country where you don’t speak the language and still showing up and outperforming. I ask myself honestly — could I do that? I’m not sure I could.

We’re so proud to have Luis on our team.

My #1 pet peeve in the closet industry? Fully dril My #1 pet peeve in the closet industry? Fully drilled out vertical panels.

Most closet companies fully bore out their panels — and I get it. Closets are typically built on a 32mm system and it makes hardware alignment easy no matter what. It’s just not for us.

We drill as little as possible — 3 to 5 holes per shelf, only where they’re needed. Clean panels, no unnecessary hardware, nothing that doesn’t serve a purpose.

In wardrobes and behind doors? Sure - fully drilled out for full adjustability makes sense. But not in an open closet system.

It’s a small detail. But once you see it you can’t unsee it - this is the kind of thing that keeps us up at night.

You’ve been watching this man work for years. High You’ve been watching this man work for years. High time we properly introduced him. Meet Antoine — the heart of Legacy Wardrobes.

If you’ve ever watched one of our job site videos and smiled, there’s a good chance Antoine had something to do with it. He’s the one cracking jokes at 7am, keeping the energy up when a job gets long, and making clients feel like they just gained a friend.
But don’t let the good mood fool you. Antoine is serious about his craft. He just figured out a long time ago that you can take the work seriously without making it miserable.

That’s Legacy. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to — not just in the wardrobes we build, but in the people we build them with.

Grateful to have you on the team, Antoine. The culture wouldn’t be the same without you.

I was raised by my grandmother and had to learn most of my lessons the hard way.

The oldest of 4 and the biggest kid of the bunch. I love working with my hands, I love the satisfaction that comes with a completed project. I actually only got into this field of work by accident. I started out doin inventory at a closet company and just so happened to be available on a day someone called out…haven’t looked back since. I love that my son gets to see his dad active. One day he will be online and be embarassed by the old man dancing while showing off a closet he built. I CANT WAIT!!!!

Meet Manny — one of our very talented installers 👏

Manny is one of the hardest workers we’ve ever met. With a smile on his face, he’s always willing to put in extra hours—often more than anyone else—and still finds time for weekend side work.

He’s a family man who works incredibly hard to provide and to show up for the people around him.

We admire Manny very much. He truly embodies our core values: hard work, family first, and pride in everything we design and build.

We’re proud to have him on our team.

I never really put much thought into what I wanted to do when I was younger. My parents pulled me out of school at 16 and put me to work because I was getting into trouble and hanging around the wrong crowd.

Later on, I went back and got my GED because I didn’t like the types of jobs I was able to get. The program helped me land a data entry job at a home attendant agency, working in the payroll department. I stayed there for almost two years, but eventually got bored and decided to try community college. That didn’t work out, and I ended up trying a lot of different things.

I started working with my dad in remodeling, but at the time I was still a knucklehead and didn’t really take it seriously—that’s something I regret now. Eventually, I moved on and tried working in other places.

I really got into woodworking when my wife and I started a small decoration business around 2024, building marquee numbers and letters. I remember it took me a while to start because I was worried I’d mess them up or they wouldn’t come out right—but once I finally went for it, they turned out pretty good.

Not long after that, I came across an ad for Legacy Wardrobes on Indeed and decided to apply. I love working at Legacy—not just because of the work, but because of the people. I’ve worked in a lot of different trade companies, and this is the first place where everyone is respectful and I don’t have to worry about my tools going missing.

I’ve learned so much from everyone here, and I can’t see myself working anywhere else.

We asked AI what makes Legacy Wardrobes different— We asked AI what makes Legacy Wardrobes different—this is what it had to say:

✨ WHAT MAKES LEGACY WARDROBES DIFFERENT

Legacy Wardrobes isn’t a showroom staffed by salespeople pushing manufacturer packages. It’s a company built by someone who spent 18 years actually doing the work — fitting and finishing. That depth of craft shows up in how the work gets designed and executed.

—

1️⃣ It starts with the founder, not a franchise
Built from real experience in the field—not a corporate playbook.

2️⃣ Custom means custom
Most companies configure systems.
We build cabinetry that fits your space exactly.

3️⃣ The name means something
“Legacy” isn’t fluff—it’s a standard.
We build for longevity, not just looks.

4️⃣ The team is built, not assembled
A tight crew, developed over time.
Not a revolving door of subs.

5️⃣ Philly roots. No pretense.
Real people. Real story.
No corporate veneer.

—

THE SHORT VERSION:

Most closet companies sell storage.
Legacy Wardrobes builds something that’s meant to matter.

A legacy isn’t given. It’s built.
Meet the Team Sunday 👏 Meet Frank — the one respo Meet the Team Sunday 👏

Meet Frank — the one responsible for bringing our projects to life.

Frank has worked in every part of the business over the years, and today he leads our production. From raw materials to a product ready to install, he’s the one making sure everything we build is done right. He quite literally makes everything that goes into our clients’ homes.

For painted projects, Frank also handles all of the finishing — a process that demands patience, precision, and a high level of craftsmanship. It’s where good work becomes great, and it’s something he takes a lot of pride in.

He’s a true craftsman, and a huge part of what makes the quality of our work what it is. We’re incredibly lucky to have him on the team.

———————————————————-

I didn’t set out to get into cabinetry. It’s something I grew into.

After graduating from Penn State University with an IT degree, I started working for my brother in general contracting while figuring out what I wanted to do. We took on a range of work, from framing houses to finish carpentry. I didn’t know much starting out, but learned everything hands-on as I went.

A lot of that foundation came from working alongside my brothers, learning craftsmanship, work ethic, and the small details that separate good work from great work.

I worked through all parts of the job, but kept coming back to cabinetry. I was drawn to the challenge, the problem solving, and the finish work, especially with the level of detail it can take to get things right.

I’ve been with Legacy Wardrobes for about 4.5 years now, and it’s been rewarding to be part of a team that’s growing and always improving. I take a lot of pride in being part of that.

Outside of the shop, I’m usually spending my time with my wife, our son, and our pup.

At the end of the day, I just want to do things the right way, focus on quality, and put out work I’m proud of.
