Neighborhood Spotlight: Fishtown, Philadelphia
Fishtown always inspires us when it comes to unique homes and smart designs. This custom built-in wardrobe was designed for a primary bedroom in the heart of Fishtown. This client needed serious storage without compromising bedroom space or their modern, minimalist aesthetic and we were happy to deliver.
This project is a great example of how you don’t need a walk-in closet to achieve high-end, functional storage in your rowhome. With thoughtful planning and quality materials, we created a built-in system that delivers beauty, function, and lasting value.

- Espiga Pimienta countertop for warmth and contrast
- 12 soft-close drawers with plenty of room for folded items
- Double-hang sections for efficient clothing storage
- Flip-up upper doors for seasonal or out-of-sight storage
- Adjustable shelves that evolve with the homeowner’s needs
- Pull-out bottom shelves for shoes and easy access items
- Setback along the right side to work around HVAC
Why It Works
This design turns a blank wall into a full-service wardrobe. The drawers eliminate the need for a separate dresser, freeing up floor space in the bedroom. Flip-up cabinets and pull-out shelves improve daily use, and every feature was designed with the homeowner’s lifestyle in mind.
Even the setback, built to avoid an overhead vent, shows how custom storage can be smart and seamless.
